Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA)

The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) mission is to accelerate the growth and increase the return on invested capital of the global semiconductor industry by fostering a more effective fabless ecosystem through collaboration, integration and innovation. It addresses the challenges within the supply chain including IP, EDA/design, wafer manufacturing, test and packaging to enable industry-wide solutions. Providing a platform for meaningful global collaboration, the Alliance identifies and articulates market opportunities, encourages and supports entrepreneurship, and provides members with comprehensive and unique market intelligence. Members include companies throughout the supply chain representing 25 countries across the globe.


JEDEC

JEDEC is the leading developer of standards for the solid-state industry. Almost 3100 participants, appointed by some 290 companies work together in 50 JEDEC committees to meet the needs of every segment of the industry, manufacturers and consumers alike. The publications and standards that they generate are accepted throughout the world. All JEDEC standards are available online, at no charge.

The WiMAX Forum

The WiMAX Forum is an industry-led, non-profit corporation formed to help promote and certify the compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products using the IEEE 802.16 and ETSI HiperMAN wireless MAN specifications.


Wireless Communications Association International

Wireless Communications Association International (WCA) is a Washington DC-based non-profit trade and professional association representing the Broadband Wireless industry with a membership of leading carriers, vendors and system integrators worldwide. Founded in 1988, WCA's mission is to advance the interests of the wireless carriers that provide high-speed data, Internet, voice and video services on broadband spectrum through land-based systems using reception/transmit devices in all broadband spectrum bands. As the global voice of the broadband wireless industry, WCA works toward spectrum harmonization and interoperability worldwide, fostering such goals as global roaming and freedom from interference.
